Birds and Bats
For small animals such as squirrels and chipmunks, a two-part solution involving exclusion and repair is required. We install one-way doors over animal entry points to ensure all animals are out of your home before the point is repaired.
Larger animals including but not limited to raccoons, opossums, skunks and groundhogs require trapping for removal. Several traps are set on the property near large holes and burrows. Once we remove the nuisance wildlife, we can implement remediation through repairs and/or physical exclusions.
Our area of expertise is bat and bird control. The most common colonizing bat species in southeastern Pennsylvania is the Little Brown Myotis. They form very large maternity colonies inside of buildings, walls, chimneys and attics. We safely remove them and bat-proof the structure to ensure your home remains bat-free.
Migratory birds are often found nesting in unscreened bathroom/dryer vents and in brick chimneys just above the damper. We’ll remove the birds and the nesting material in addition to attaching a screen or chimney cap to prevent it from happening again.
We also provide pigeon control services, including the installation of landing and nesting deterrents to prevent birds from roosting and defecating in unwanted areas.
Ensuring that your property is secure is critical to solving wildlife problems for the long term. To achieve this, it's important to screen or cap vents and chimneys, and to seal any entry points in soffits, roofs, and walls. Additionally, installing a sturdy steel screen around patios, decks, and sheds can help prevent burrowing animals from accessing your property.
It's important to remember that without proper repairs, the job is not complete. By taking these steps, you'll not only solve your current wildlife problem, but also prevent future issues from occurring. Don't wait until it's too late - secure your property today for lasting peace of mind.
